Cuatro Hermanos

Snorkel with the Four Brothers

Cuatro Hermanos is a chain of islands off the coast of Isabela. Like all islands in the Galapagos archipelago, they are volcanic in origin. These islands have been weathered by erosion into random shapes and formations.

The varied formations and mixed ocean currents make for great snorkeling opportunities. Hammerhead sharks, manta rays, and sea turtles are only a few of the diverse residents of this area.

The Cuatro Hermanos islands are restricted, therefore we visit a nearby beach on Isabela to lunch and relax.

"We are so happy we decided to do a land based tour with Galapagos Alternative. It's the best way to go! They make the process of traveling to the islands simple and don't overcharge. Their use of local tour companies stimulates the local economy and gets you right in the middle of all the action on the islands."
